It is not only for removals. Plenty of people spread out tree trimming on a row of overgrown maples, or finally get the stump ground down after putting it off for a couple of seasons.

Season-long work counts too. A lawn care schedule or a spray program that catches pests before they do real damage both cost less spread across the year than they do in one bill.
